STEP 1 - COMPLETE New Student ORIENTATION 🦇

-Have 12 or more college credits from ANY college? Head to Step 2!

STEP 2 - Meet with an advisor 🦇

We have different steps for students based on their college experience. Select the section below that describes you.

I have earned 12 or more credit hours from another college -OR- I have taken college credit courses at ACC.

Returning ACC students and brand-new students with 12 credit hours or more (earned at ANY college) are not required to complete New Student Orientation.

I am new to ACC with less than 12 credit hours -OR- I am a first time college student

Students who have fewer than 12 hours and are applying to ACC for the first time should schedule an advising session with an orientation advisor AFTER completing New Student Orientation. You will discuss your educational goals and plan your first semester courses in this session.

ACC offers the best tuition rates in Central Texas. 

Financial Aid

Most students are eligible for some type of assistance – from grants, scholarships, loans, or work-study. The Financial Aid Office at ACC will work with you to explore options and access the funds you need to achieve a college education. 

Scholarships

Students can apply for scholarships through a range of organizations, including through ACC. This is another source of money that you don’t have to pay back. 

Payment Plans

ACC offers interest-free payment plans as an option to help make paying tuition more affordable and manageable. 

ACC FREE TUITION 

The ACC Free Tuition pilot program eliminates the cost of tuition and general fees at Austin Community College.

It starts with the class of 2024 and will continue over the next five years for future classes of high school graduates and GED® completers who live in the ACC service area.
